Overdue quarterly returns

Get your overdue quarters in order

We review which tax forms and periods are outstanding and which documents are missing. To request a quote, describe your situation in the contact form. We confirm the scope and price in writing before starting.

A starting point, even with incomplete records

  1. 01

    Tell us what is outstanding

List the years and quarters you are concerned about, whether you had another accountant and which records you have. If you are unsure what is missing, share what you do know: the first step is to organise the situation.

  2. 02

    Confirm the work and quote

We tell you which returns and periods need reviewing, which records we need and the quote. We start once you give the go-ahead.

  3. 03

    Keep the filing receipts

When we finish, you have the filed returns and their receipts, plus a summary of what was resolved and anything still pending. From there, we carry on with your regular quarterly returns.

What to have ready

Start with what you have. A list of missing records is more useful than waiting for a perfect folder.

  • The years and quarters you want reviewed, noting those you believe are outstanding.
  • Previous returns and any filing or payment receipts you have kept.
  • Income and expense invoices, books and statements relating to the outstanding periods.
  • Tax office correspondence, including the complete document and the date you received it.

Before getting started

How much does catching up cost?

It depends on your case: one quarter with tidy invoices is not the same as several years to rebuild. Before we start, we give you a quote listing the returns and periods included.

Is it included in my Finlai plan?

The Gold plan includes Form 303 for the current quarter until its filing deadline. For example, the Q3 return is included if you sign up for Gold between 1 July and 20 October; the Q4 return, between 1 October and 30 January. Earlier quarters are not covered by the subscription: we give you a quote based on your case.

Can I ask if I am missing records?

Yes. Explain what you have and what you would need to request from your former accountant or retrieve from your files. This helps establish the next step and what information is needed before preparing the returns.

What if the tax office has already written to me?

Mention it when you get in touch and share the full letter. Your adviser reads it to assess your case and tells you whether the reply is part of the quote or priced separately.

Finlai supports self-employed people in Spain, except the Basque Country and Navarre. Explain your activity and tax regime to confirm that the service fits your case.

The next step: explain what is missing

Have the periods you are worried about and whatever records you have to hand. We tell you what is needed and what it costs before we start.
