About Finlai
What Finlai is
Finlai is an online accountancy for self-employed workers and small businesses in Spain that combines a tax platform with real advisors. You upload income, expenses, invoices and receipts; Finlai organises them, an advisor reviews them and files your quarterly and annual returns with the AEAT.
What we do
We handle the self-employed worker's taxes end to end, with an assigned advisor you talk to directly.
- Free autónomo registration, included in every plan: form 036 with the tax office and RETA registration with Social Security, filed within 2 hours of receiving the paperwork.
- Quarterly returns and the annual income tax return, prepared and filed by a tax advisor.
- Verifactu-compliant invoicing from the web or your phone.
- Review of expenses and bank movements to apply every deduction you are entitled to, with a human validating each one.
- VAT and income tax forecast during the quarter, so you know what you will pay before the payment is due.
- A stable assigned advisor, no ticket system: WhatsApp, in-app chat or a call.
How we work
We use artificial intelligence to organise documents, read invoices and spot deductions, so we are faster and make fewer mistakes. But we never hand over control: a tax advisor reviews everything filed with the tax office.
Your data is yours. You can download your ledgers and all your information at any time, and if you already have an accountant, Finlai also works to centralise scattered income, expenses and bank statements.
Who is behind it
Finlai is a Spanish company based in Madrid, incorporated in 2026 and made up of tax advisors and engineers. Behind every account there are people on the team, not just software.
We are registered in the Spanish Tax Agency's census of social collaborators through the agreement of the Spanish Association of Accounting and Business Administration (AECA), which lets us file returns on behalf of our clients.

Who it is for, and who it is not
For self-employed workers and small businesses with tax obligations in Spain who want to delegate VAT, income tax and filings to a real advisor, know in advance what they will pay and talk to their advisor without tickets.
Not a fit if your activity or tax obligations are outside Spain, or if you are looking for a public API to integrate with: Finlai does not offer one.
