Refer and earn program terms

Any Finlai customer with an active subscription, or a trial with a card added, may invite others. A customer who has requested cancellation may continue sharing their link while the subscription remains active. Any months they earn are applied only on renewals or charges of their subscription.

The invited person receives a 30-day Finlai trial. The period starts when they create a new profile through the referral link.

To activate the trial, the invited person must add a card through Stripe. No charge is made during the 30-day trial.

At the end of the trial, the monthly Gold subscription renews automatically at the current price. That price is shown on the pricing page and before the trial is activated.

The invited person can cancel from their account settings at any time during the trial. If they cancel before the 30 days end, the subscription will not renew and the first monthly payment will not be charged.

For the invitation to generate a reward, the invited person must complete these three steps:

• Complete their profile.
• Add a card as their payment method.
• Complete one value action: add three documents that Finlai can process and use, issue one invoice or file one tax return.

All three steps must be completed within the 30 days that start when the profile is created.

The person who sent the invitation earns a discount equal to one month of the plan in force when Finlai records the completed activation, excluding taxes. The amount is fixed then and does not change if the plan or its price changes later.

For a monthly plan, it is equal to the monthly price excluding taxes. For a quarterly plan, it is equal to one third of the quarterly price excluding taxes. For an annual plan, it is equal to one twelfth of the annual price excluding taxes.

Finlai automatically applies one reward to each available renewal. If several are pending, they are applied one at a time to successive renewals. There is no limit on invitations or on the number of months that can be earned.

Each month earned expires 12 months after the date it was earned if it could not be applied. The reward cannot be exchanged for cash.

Earned months are not lost when the subscription is cancelled. They remain available until their expiry date and are applied when the subscription renews again. If they expire before a new renewal, they can no longer be applied.

The person who sends the invitation can see the invited person's first name and their general progress through three steps: profile completed, card added and value action completed.

They can never see the invited person's documents, invoices, tax data, payment data or any other account content.

Finlai may change or close the program. If this happens, it will honour any months that have already been earned and are still valid.

The personal link is for sharing with people you know. It must not be used to send spam or be published on a large scale. Finlai may withdraw rewards obtained through fraud, including self-referrals and duplicate accounts.
